ALEXANDER CROCKETT RITCHIE
Son of Maggard and Mary Ann Young Ritchie He married Effie Reed, who died in Paducah, KY and is buried there in the Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Alexander ran a store at Tribbey, KY in Perry County during the early coal boom. He and his wife later operated a store at the mouth of Clear Creek in Knott County. During the 1930's, they hired the construction of a large cut-sandstone building, built by the WPA, which still stands at Fisty.
