Know all men by these presents, that I, Elisabeth Schlappia of Ringgold County, State of Iowa, in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and fifty Dollars, in hand paid, do hereby Sell and Convey unto William Millsap of Ringgold county, and State of Iowa, the following descrided premises, to wit, Lot. No. ten 10, in the Town of Marshall, and I do hereby convenant to Warrant and Defend the said premises against the lawful claim of all persons whomsoever, and the said Daniel Schlappia hereby relinquishes all his right of dower in and to the above described premises. Signed this 21st day of June A.D. 1859.

State of Iowa Ringgold Co. On this 21st day of June A. D. 1859, before me, a Justice of the Peace in and for said county, personally came Elisabeth Schlappia personally known to be the identical person whose name is affixed to the above Deed as grantor and acknowledged the same to be her voluntary act and deed. Witness my hand and name seal done at Daniel Schlappia's house on the date last above written.
