Warranty Deed

Know all men by these Presents, that we Thomas Marshall and Mary Marshall, husband and wife of Ringgold County, State of Iowa, in consideration of the sum of Fifty Dollars, in hand paid by Daniel Schlapia of Ringgold County, State of Iowa, do hereby Sell and convey unto the said Daniel Schlapia, the following described premises, situated in the County of Ringgold, to wit: Lots, numbered Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18) in the Town of Marshall, and we do hereby Covenant with the said Daniel Schlapia, that we are lawfully seized of said premises, that they are free from incumbrance, that we have good right and lawful authority to sell the same, and we do here covenant to Warrant and defend the said premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. And the said Mary Marshall hereby relenquishes her right of dower in and to the above described premises.

In Witness Whereof, we have herunto set our hands and seals this 25th day of March A.D. 1858.

State of Iowa Ringgold County, I do hereby certify, that before me a County Judge in and for said county, personally appeared the above named Thomas Marshall and Mary Marshall, husband and wife, who are personally Known to me to be the identical persons whose names are affixed to the above conveyance as grantors, and acknowledged the Execution of the same to be their voluntary act and deed for the purposes therin mentioned.
