LENA'S CAMPBELL ROOTS

The Campbells trace back to Medieval Scotland and beyond.


LENA'S NOBLE FAMILY ROOTS

The Nobles are from Scotland and England.
Nathan and Virginia (Neace) Noble are claimed by some to be the among the first settlers
to settle in the Troublesome Creek area of Eastern Kentucky.
They came over the mountains from Virginia.
At that time Kentucky was a part of Western Virginia.


JIM'S ROBINSON FAMILY ROOTS

William and Lottie's father and mother were Hugh and Elizabeth Robinson.
Both born in Ireland and died in New York City.
Elizabeth died August 10, 1883..
Hugh placed William & Lottie with the Protestant Half Orphan Asylum in March 1884.
The Children's Aid Society (CAS) sent them on the train in May 1886
Jim's grandfather, William Robinson and William's sister Lottie came to Bosworth MO. from New York
According to Lottie's bible, she was born in NY on Henry street.



JIM'S TROUTMAN - TRAUTMANN ROOTS

From Jim's father, back through South Central Missouri, then,
via Tennesee, N. Carolina, Pennsylvania, to Germany.
They came from Gross Gumpen, an area about twenty miles southeast of Darmstadt.
The oldest found so far is Hans TRAUTMANN, born abt. 1579.
He was married to Rosina REISIG.


JIM'S SCHLAPIA - SCHLAPPIG - SCHLAPPICH ROOTS

From Jim's mother to the SCHLAPIAs of Iowa, then,
via Michigan to Berks Co. Pennsylvania where
two SCHLAPPIG men settled having come over from the
Hesse area in Germany. From about 20 miles NW of Frankfurt.
The families in Germany were the SCHLAPPICHs
The oldest found here was Gottfried SCHLAPPICH, born 1625
and was married to Anna Maria OFFERMAN
